Birmingham, Ala. – May 1, 2024 - ThreatAdvice, a prominent leader in fraud prevention and cybersecurity, is delighted to announce the appointment of Coy Ogle, a seasoned fintech veteran, as senior vice president of fintech enterprise sales.
With over 30 years of extensive experience in understanding and addressing the technological requirements of financial institutions, Ogle brings a wealth of knowledge to ThreatAdvice.
Prior to joining ThreatAdvice, during his 20-year tenure at FIS, Ogle demonstrated exceptional leadership, rising from the role of manager of strategic account managers for item processing to vice president of Image Sales. He was accountable for overseeing a large high performing sales team focused on implementing strategic initiatives to foster a culture of excellence and driving sustainable sales growth in cloud base banking solutions.
In his new role Ogle will represent ThreatAdvice’s TAFraudSentry and FraudXchange solutions.
TAFraudSentry, powered by sophisticated AI and image analysis technologies, effectively detects and prevents check fraud. Its comprehensive features include Automated Signature Verification (ASV-AI), Check Stock Validation (CSV-AI), CAR/LAR Discrepancy, and Check Style Analysis, merging digital image forensics with transactional analysis for thorough fraudulent item identification.
FraudXchange serves as a centralized platform for financial institutions, streamlining the reporting and exchange of fraudulent transactions to facilitate swift action. Leveraging its API-enabled fraud prevention database, FraudXchange specializes in identifying stolen checks and offers tailored fraud watchlist screening services. Real-time alerts on suspicious activities enable prompt customer notifications, fostering protection and trust in the online fraud ecosystem.
David Brasfield, CEO of ThreatAdvice, commented, "Coy holds wealth of financial industry experience and understands the challenges that banks and credit unions are facing as they continually work to minimize fraud. He has strong industry relationships and is a valuable addition to our sales team.”
Ogle expressed enthusiasm stating, “I am thrilled to join ThreatAdvice in their mission to combat fraud within financial institutions. Witnessing solutions like TAFraudSentry pay dividends within the first month of implementation underscores the company's innovative approach, and I am eager to contribute to its success.”
Ogle holds a BA in Economics and Management from Centre University and serves as a current board member of the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation, dedicated to raising awareness and offering support to patients and survivors of gynecological cancers.
